Anomalies in paranormal investigating basically are noted in many different areas of our research. Some, as in the above photo would say that the shaft of light with Lisa is an "anomaly". Many anomalies can be explained scientifically as in this case the light pole is probably a light refraction on the lens of the camera. Other anomalies we look for in photo or video evidence are Orbs, Apparitions, Shadow beings, Rods, Kinetic activity,levitation or any other strange occurrence that at first may have no logical explanation.

Anomalies in field equipment would be when certain types of measuring devices make sudden abrupt changes for no apparent reason. This may occur as a sudden temperature drop, an EMF [Electro Magnetic Frequency] fluctuation or an unknown object on a thermal or infra-red imaging device.

Other anomalies to be noted may be observed as operational anomalies in electronic equipment. Some of these types may be lights flickering, televisions turning on and off or strange voices coming through radio or telephones. Virtually all of these things have been reported as paranormal but often as an investigator a natural cause may be found to explain the quirks.
